Job summary

Dentrust Optimized Care Solutions is looking for independent contractor Physician Assistants to provide health readiness services to military service members. The role involves assessing physical health, reviewing medical histories, and ensuring readiness classifications.

The position primarily requires work on weekends, with opportunities for some weekdays in various locations, including remote military sites. Interested candidates should have an active PA license and CPR certification.

Qualifications

• Supervising physician may be required depending on the state requirement.
• Experience with mobile medical services – preferred.
• Adaptable to fast-paced environments, with large volumes of service members seen daily.
• Able to work in various locations, including remote military installations.

Responsibilities

• Support physical health assessments of military personnel.
• Review health history, service member medical records, and medical questionnaires.
• Interview military personnel to determine current and prior medical concerns.
• Document interview results for readiness classification.

Skills

Experience with primary care, urgent care or occupational health

Knowledge of military systems, protocols, and terminology

Excellent oral and written communication skills

Basic computer knowledge and skills

Education

Active PA license in the state

CPR/BLS certification
