Job summary

DOCS Health in Aberdeen, SD invites Physician Assistants to join as independent contractors serving military service members. Weekend work with occasional weekdays, on an as-needed basis.

Support health assessments, review records, interview personnel, and document results in a proprietary system; travel to remote military installations may be required. Active PA license and CPR/BLS preferred.

Qualifications

• Active state PA license.
• Current CPR/BLS certification.
• Experience in primary, urgent, or occupational health.
• Ability to work weekends and travel.

Responsibilities

• Support Health Assessments of military personnel.
• Review health history, service member records, and medical questionnaires.
• Interview personnel to determine current and prior medical concerns.
• Identify concerns that need immediate attention, including Behavioral Health.
• Document interview results in the service member’s medical record using a proprietary system.
