Job summary

Dentrust Optimized Care Solutions seeks Nurse Practitioners to serve as independent contractors supporting military personnel in Alabama, primarily on weekends with some weekday shifts under RHRP. You will assess readiness, review medical histories, and document results for deployment readiness in our systems.

Active NP license required with CPR/BLS, and experience in primary/urgent/occupational health is preferred.

Qualifications

Active NP license in the state.
CPR/BLS certification required.
Experience with primary, urgent, or occupational health settings preferred.
Knowledge of military systems, protocols, and terminology preferred.
Adaptable to fast-paced environments with high daily volumes.
Able to work extended hours and travel to various locations including remote installations.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Basic computer knowledge and skills.
Not required to diagnose, treat, or prescribe medications.

Responsibilities

Support Physical Health Assessments of military personnel.
Review health history, service member medical records, and medical questionnaires.
Interview military personnel to determine current and prior medical concerns.
Identify any concerns that need immediate attention, including Behavioral Health.
Document interview results for readiness classification in the service member’s medical record using the proprietary system.
