Job summary

DOCS Health in Alaska seeks Dental Assistants to support military service members through mobile dental exams, treatments, and X-rays.

Positions are primarily on weekends with occasional weekday hours, within the State of Alaska. Candidates must hold active Dental Assistant and Radiology certifications, CPR/BLS, and be comfortable with 4-handed chair-side assisting; prior military experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Active Dental Assistant Certification in the state (CDA, RDA, EDDA, EFDA)
• Active Radiology Certification
• CPR/BLS Certification
• Comfortable with 4-handed chair-side assisting
• Experience with sterilization
• Experience with basic administrative functions
• Experience working with military – preferred
• Proficient with computer programs
• Must have weekend availability

Responsibilities

• Provide dental services in a mobile environment.
• Provide Digital x-Rays (BW & PANO).
• Provide sterilization of instruments.
