Job summary

WeatherNation TV, Inc. seeks experienced on‑air Meteorologists for positions in Denver, Colorado and West Palm Beach, Florida.

The role focuses on delivering accurate forecasts and compelling weather storytelling to 30+ million TV households nationwide, with weekend coverage and flexible weekday scheduling to cover breaking events. Ideal candidates have 1–3 years of on‑air experience, a Meteorology or Atmospheric Sciences degree, and the ability to meet deadlines.

Job description

WeatherNation TV, Inc is looking for experienced on–air Meteorologists to join our team in Denver, Colorado and West Palm Beach, Florida

We are looking for creative, natural storytellers – someone who brings professionalism, energy and personality to our team. Ideal candidates will be self-starters, effective at delivering accurate weather forecasts and information to our 30+ million TV households across the country. Ideal candidates will be looking to gain experience in severe weather and tropical forecasting, and working to gain knowledge of weather patterns around the country. Weekend coverage and weekday flexibility to cover breaking weather-related events is required. Since WeatherNation is on 24 hours a day, candidate must be willing and able to change work schedule based on the needs of the network.

Snow depth reports

Meteorology or Atmospheric Sciences degree required. Minimum of 1-3 years’ on-airexperience. Ability to meet strict deadlines. Excellent attention to detail. Outstanding ability to process meteorological data on a national basis and provide accurate, timely and meaningful information to viewers. Experience with Baron’s Lynx and VIPIR systems preferred, but not necessary.

Salary Range: $50,000-$65,000
