Job summary

Arisa Health in North Little Rock, AR is seeking a part-time Mental Health Technician to support adults with mental illnesses. You will work under the supervision of registered nurses, physicians, or psychiatrists, provide direct services, and help coordinate care within the interdisciplinary team in a busy behavioral health setting.

CPR/BCLS certification is required, and weekend work (Saturday and Sunday) is needed.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

Provide services to clients under the general supervision of registered nurses, physicians, psychiatrists or other qualified personnel.
Perform tasks within education, knowledge and policies; aligned with local, state and federal guidelines and facility procedures.
Function as a member of the interdisciplinary team and assist with coordination of services including planning, monitoring, documenting and evaluating services to clients.
Make observations regarding clients' physical conditions, behaviors and responses to treatment and report significant changes to supervisors and staff.
Utilize behavioral techniques to prevent injury and maintain a safe, therapeutic environment; respond appropriately in crisis situations.
