Job summary

The Village of St. Edward in Fairlawn, OH seeks a Medication Aide Weekend Warrior to assist residents with personal care and basic medical needs.

The role requires Ohio STNA or equivalent, and a current Medication Aide Certification; weekend shifts are Saturday and Sunday, 7am–3:30pm, with 16 hours per week. Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older, with reliable transportation.
• Must hold an Ohio STNA in good standing or 2 years RA experience.
• Current Medication Aide Certification approved by Ohio Board of Nursing is required.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and assist residents with daily activities.
• Excellent communication and professional, empathetic interactions.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care needs for residents as delegated by the nurse.
• Monitor conditions, document changes, and report promptly to LPN/RN.
• Administer certain medications per direction of LPN/RN.
• Maintain infection control practices and safety standards.
• Participate in rotating weekend and holiday shifts.
