Job summary

Quest Diagnostics Incorporated in Stratford, CT, is seeking a part-time Medical Courier for weekend shifts (Saturday 11:00 AM–7:30 PM and Sunday 2:00 PM–10:30 PM). You will travel a scheduled route delivering medical specimens and lab materials, ensuring timely, accurate handoffs to healthcare staff.

You’ll work independently in a mobile role with a predictable route and receive competitive pay and benefits from day one. Strong customer service and reliable documentation are essential.

Qualifications

• Valid Driver's license with 3+ years driving experience and clean MVR.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and documentation.
• Ability to work independently and solve problems on the road.
• Comfortable using mobile devices or scanning tools.
• Able to lift up to 30 lbs and stay on the move.
• Prior medical, courier, or logistics experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Pick up, transport, and deliver medical specimens and lab materials on a scheduled route.
• Communicate professionally with doctors, nurses, and lab staff to ensure timely deliveries.
• Safely operate a company-provided vehicle (non-CDL).
• Use handheld scanners, route software, and mobile apps to track deliveries.
• Ensure proper specimen handling, labeling, storage, and documentation.
• Comply with all DOT, HIPAA, OSHA, and internal safety standards.
