Dr. Wilkinson's Backyard Resort & Mineral Springs in Calistoga is seeking a Massage Therapist for part-time weekend availability. This on-site, non-exempt role offers professional massage, body treatments, and guest services in a luxury spa setting.

Weekend shift required; compensation starts at $16.99 per hour including commission and tips. Reports to the Spa Director; opportunities to learn and contribute to the spa's services and guest satisfaction.

Qualifications

Must adhere to state sanitation laws and requirements.
Must have ability to learn new spa services to meet guest needs.
Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work with co-workers and the public.

Responsibilities

Perform all massage and body work services following established protocols and allotted times.
Understand and respond to guest needs in a timely and professional manner.
Provide high level personalized guest service with enthusiastic attitude.
Conserve and monitor spa supplies and assets.
Complete shift checklists, replenish supplies, clean equipment and restock laundry.
Attend all scheduled training sessions and product knowledge.
Set and maintain high standards of service and cleanliness.
Assist in training other team members as directed.
Assist with special projects, events and promotions as needed.
Promote spa services and products throughout the property.
Upsell treatments to guests when appropriate.
Prescribe home care products and treatments in written format as appropriate.
Represent the spa and hotel positively and professionally.
Market the spa internally and externally by attending events and building relationships.
