Essity is hiring a Manufacturing Supervisor for the weekend shift in Bordentown, NJ. This frontline role leads a safety-conscious team on a weekend production schedule, coaching members, managing incidents, and driving continuous improvement to meet quality specs and delivery commitments.

Qualifications

• Five years of manufacturing operational experience.
• 1+ year of supervisory or team leadership experience.
• Experience in planning, task delegation, and performance tracking.
• Strong coaching skills.
• Ability to identify problems and implement solutions; handle conflict.
• Good planning, organizing and prioritizing skills.
• Mechanical trouble-shooting skills.
• Knowledge of manufacturing best practices and improvement processes.
• Skilled in MS Project, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate safe work practices and promote safety culture.
• Adhere to safety policies and guidelines.
• Serve as first contact for safety, quality, and environmental issues; handle disciplinary actions.
• Identify hazards, investigate incidents, implement corrective actions.
• Conduct safety discussions and coach on safe practices.
• Ensure adherence to operational standards and procedures on the line.
• Support product initiatives and line projects.
• Ensure compliance with CIL/TPM standards and maintenance.
• Lead onboarding and continuous learning for the team.
• Optimize resources to meet production targets and efficiency goals.
• Oversee shift operations for productivity, quality, and cost control.
• Monitor KPIs and report issues timely.
• Ensure products meet specs and delivery schedules.
• Verify materials and work orders availability.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives.
