Job summary

Fuyao is seeking a Maintenance Technician for weekend shifts in Moraine, Ohio. The role focuses on timely repair of production equipment, executing preventative maintenance, and driving continuous improvement projects to keep systems stable.

The ideal candidate has 1–3 years of manufacturing experience, a High School Diploma, and hands-on skills in electrical and mechanical systems, with knowledge of PLCs, VFDs, and safety certifications.

Qualifications

• Ability to read electrical and mechanical drawings and schematics.
• Experience with repair of production equipment and preventative maintenance.
• Familiarity with 480V 3-phase electrical systems and related safety practices.
• Ability to train staff on equipment SOPs and TPM procedures.
• Certifications in safety (LOTO, Arc Flash, Fall Protection) are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for timely repairs of abrupt equipment failures and to perform equipment preventive maintenance.
• Complete reactive items, projects, and continuous improvement work orders as assigned.
• Assist software engineer with on-site debugging of equipment.
• Participate in continuous improvement programs.
• Install and repair electrical and mechanical components.
