Internetwork Expert is seeking a Weekend Machinist Crew member to operate and maintain machining equipment at our facility in Texas. The role focuses on meeting production goals with high quality and efficiency during weekend shifts.

The ideal candidate has experience with CNC and manual machining, reads blueprints, and pays close attention to detail while collaborating with teammates to ensure smooth operations over the weekend.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a machinist or in a similar manufacturing role preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
• Familiarity with CNC machines and manual machining equipment.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
• Good communication skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Willingness to work weekend shifts.
• Ability to stand 8 hours continuously and lift 50lbs repetitively

Responsibilities

• Operate various machining tools and equipment including lathes, mills, grinders, and CNC machines.
• Set up machines according to specifications and blueprints.
• Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on machinery to minimize downtime.
• Inspect finished products for quality and accuracy using precision measuring instruments.
• Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Collaborate with team members to meet production deadlines during weekend shifts.
• Report any equipment malfunctions or safety hazards to supervisors promptly.
