Qualifications

• Must be able to read and interpret blueprints.
• Proficient in basic shop math.
• Able to operate forklift, hoist, crane and other handling equipment.
• Able to use measuring devices.
• Able to work with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Operate at least one machine in the assigned area.
• Cross-train on other machines in the area.
• Set up machines to start a production cycle.
• Load and feed metal stock and materials into machines.
• Monitor gauges to ensure quality work.
• Verify parts against blueprints.
• Label parts for routing.
• Perform preventative maintenance on machines.
• Escalate equipment or quality issues.
• Enter job data in the production tracking system.
• Maintain quality standards and 5S housekeeping.
