Job summary
Southern Health Partners is seeking a compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our healthcare team at Rabun County Jail in Tiger, GA. This Sunday-only position offers a stable, part-time schedule and an opportunity to earn extra income while making a difference in a correctional setting.
Spend one day each week providing direct patient care, nursing assessments, medications, and supportive care in a structured environment.
Qualifications
- Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in Georgia.
- Experience in direct patient care and nursing assessments is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care and nursing assessments
- Conduct sick call and evaluate patient concerns
- Administer medications and treatments as ordered
- Monitor patient conditions and communicate changes to providers
- Maintain accurate and timely electronic medical documentation
- Collaborate with correctional staff and healthcare teammates to provide safe, quality care
