Qualifications

• Must hold a current, active LPN license in the applicable state.
• Must possess a current CPR certification.
• Experience in long-term care settings is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Direct the day-to-day functions of nursing assistants and provide day-to-day nursing care to residents.
• Complete medical forms, evaluations, observations, and necessary documentation for assigned residents.
• Ensure medications and treatments are signed off and update the Nursing Supervisor on resident status.
• Receive physician telephone orders, transcribe them, and administer medications as ordered.
• Greet new admissions, prepare rooms, and escort residents to their rooms as needed.
• Perform rounds with providers and monitor resident status and care plan adherence.
