Job summary

Cadia Healthcare in Wilmington, DE is seeking a Part Time Weekend Desk Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team. The role involves supporting day-to-day nursing operations in a skilled nursing and rehabilitation facility and ensuring residents receive compassionate, compliant care.

As an LPN, you will direct nursing assistants, administer medications, and collaborate with physicians and staff to maintain high-quality resident care on weekends.

Qualifications

• Must possess a current, unencumbered, active license to practice as an LPN in this state or compact state.
• Must possess a current CPR license.
• Previous long-term care experience is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Direct or supervise the day-to-day activities of nursing staff to ensure residents receive care in accordance with regulations and care plans.
• Administer medications and treatments as ordered by the provider, ensuring proper documentation.
• Greet residents on admission, escort to rooms, and ensure readiness of rooms for new admissions.
• Receive physician orders and transcribe them into the electronic health record; communicate changes to the nursing team.
