Safro Staffing & Consulting seeks a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to work at an Intermediate Care Facility in Lebanon, PA. This weekend position offers 1st, 2nd, and 3rd shifts with competitive contractor rates and a flexible schedule that works for you.

The facility provides 24-hour care for residents with severe or profound intellectual disabilities in a home-like environment, and three days of comprehensive training are provided to ensure staff are prepared and confident in their roles.

Qualifications

• Must have PA LPN license and clearances (FBI, PA State Police, Child Abuse).
• CPR certification required.
• TB test w/in 1 year or Quantiferon Gold or Chest X-Ray; physical/fit-for-duty exam w/in 1 year.

Responsibilities

• Oversee personal care and maintain a safe, clean environment.
• Assist with ADLs, feeding, and positioning.
• Monitor health status; administer medication and treatments.
• Maintain medical supplies and equipment; assist with physician rounds.
• Transcribe orders and communicate changes to Health Services Supervisor.
• Update parents on medical changes as needed.
• Maintain accurate medical records.
• Participate in admissions, discharges, and transfers.
• Attend required meetings, in-services, and training sessions.
• Assist with orientation of new LPNs and provide task direction to staff.
