Proforma Health Inc is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our care team in a geriatric setting, with a weekend commitment. You will work under the supervision of a Registered Nurse to direct nursing services and ensure high-quality patient care.

Ideal candidates hold a NC license, a nursing program diploma, CPR certification, and are prepared to serve as charge nurse during emergencies. You will participate in in-service trainings and staff meetings to maintain best practices.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
• Current, valid license from the North Carolina Board of Nursing.
• Ability to serve as charge nurse and work during emergencies.
• Annual CPR certification required.
• Commitment to attending in-service training and staff meetings.

Responsibilities

• Assist in directing nursing services under the supervision of a Registered Nurse.
• Delegate duties to nursing staff and monitor performance.
• Observe patients for symptoms and changes in condition.
• Notify physicians of emergencies and implement orders.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
