Job summary

Aspire Health and Community Services is seeking a part-time LPN to join our Community Crisis Stabilization team in Massachusetts. The role supports adults in a 24‑hour stabilization program, providing focused nursing care in a short‑stay setting, typically 3–5 days, with a variety of shifts.

This 16‑hour weekly position offers weekend coverage (Sat/Sun 7:00 AM–3:00 PM) and shift differentials. Compensation reflects experience, and applicants must be licensed LPNs in MA with a compassionate,

Qualifications

  • Graduate of an accredited Nursing program.
  • Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) must be licensed by the Massachusetts Board of Registration.
  • Ability to work independently and provide high‑quality care.
  • One year of acute mental health and/or co‑occurring disorders experience preferred.
  • Familiarity with recovery oriented treatment approaches preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor and document clients' self administration of medications with safe practices.
  • Coordinate acute medical care with direct care staff as needed.
  • Facilitate health and wellness groups to promote recovery and well‑being.
  • Deliver strength based nursing interventions and WRAP/safety plans.
  • Complete clinical documentation and participate in trainings.

We are seeking an experienced Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our Community Crisis Stabilization (CCS) team. In this role, you’ll provide specialized nursing care to adults in a 24-hour crisis stabilization program that serves as a medically necessary, voluntary, and less restrictive alternative to inpatient psychiatric hospitalization. Our CCS program features a newly renovated 10 bed unit where individuals experiencing a behavioral health crisis receive short-term stabilization and support. Typical stays range from 3 to 5 days but are flexible based on each individual\'s needs. Part-Time | 16 Hours per Week Available Schedule

  • Saturday & Sunday | 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM
LPN Shift Differentials For The Stabilization Unit Position Are
  • 7a – 11p (Sat & Sun only) = Base + $1.00
  • 11p – 7a (ANY day of the week) = Base + $2.00
  • 3-11pm (Monday through Friday) = Base + $1.00
What You Will Do
  • Monitor and document clients\' self administration of medications while ensuring safe medication practices.
  • Monitor clients\' physical health needs and coordinate acute medical care with direct care staff as needed.
  • Facilitate health and wellness groups and activities that promote recovery and overall well-being.
  • Deliver strength based, solution focused nursing interventions and support individuals in developing Wellness Recovery Action Plans (WRAP) and safety plans.
  • Complete assigned clinical documentation and participate in required trainings to support high quality care.
What You Will Bring
  • Graduate of an accredited Nursing program (Diploma/Associates/or Bachelor’s degree)
  • Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) must be licensed by the Massachusetts Board of Registration
  • Ability to work independently, exercise sound clinical judgment, and provide compassionate, high-quality care
  • One year of experience in an acute mental health and/or co-occurring disorders setting preferred
  • Familiarity with recovery oriented treatment approaches for individuals with severe mental illness preferred
By joining Aspire Health and Community Services, you will make a direct impact supporting adults during times of behavioral health crisis, collaborate with a dedicated multidisciplinary team in a newly renovated crisis stabilization program, and help individuals achieve stability and recovery in a compassionate, community-based setting. Compensation is based on candidate experience, qualifications, and certifications and licenses. Annual ranges listed are based on a full-time, 40 hours per week position.
