Power Wellness is seeking a part-time Lifeguard for Mount Carmel Fitness Center (Lewis Center, Ohio) to provide safety for members and guests during weekend hours. The role emphasizes vigilance, emergency response, and participation in facility maintenance, with certification expectations to be met within 90 days of hire.

Qualifications

• Current Lifeguard certification from a nationally recognized organization.
• Water Safety Instructor certification is preferred.
• CPR/AED certification required within 90 days of hire (provided by Power Wellness).
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain safety in the pools and surrounding pool areas.
• Provide supervision and take life saving measures when necessary for members and guests in the pool and surrounding areas.
• Participate in maintenance of pool, exercise equipment and emergency equipment.
• Be proficient in all core business software as it relates to job duties and responsibilities.
• Work towards meeting departmental and organizational goals.
• Flexibility to center hours and work schedules.
• Must meet all safety requirements and certifications to perform job duties.
• Demonstrate knowledge of emergency and safety procedures and communicate with EMS.
• Participate in HIPAA and related training.
