Job summary

Idlogistics is seeking a hands-on Warehouse Lead to supervise forklift operators in a cold storage facility in New Jersey. You will train staff, assign tasks, and ensure safe movement of goods using sit-down, stand-up, and clamp forklifts.

Daily responsibilities include loading/unloading, inventory, and coordinating with Customer Service, Transportation, and Maintenance. The role emphasizes safety, adherence to GMP/OSHA standards, and maintaining orderly work areas.

Qualifications

• Requires experience operating forklift and other industrial lifting equipment.
• Ability to train and direct workers within an area of responsibility.
• Must obtain and maintain required equipment certifications (OSHA, company, etc.).

Responsibilities

• Direct Forklift Operators, train staff, assign work, and resolve problems within area of responsibility.
• Operate sit-down/stand-up/clamp forklifts and other equipment to move products and materials.
• Inspect equipment daily and follow safety procedures and OSHA standards.
• Support inbound/outbound shipments, stock, stage, and prepare products for shipment.
• Coordinate with other departments to ensure load accuracy and safety.
