The Pediatric Movement Center (PMC) is a therapist-owned small business with locations in Hagerstown, MD and Frederick, MD. We are a community-focused outpatient clinic providing physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech therapy, developmental classes, and community events to children up to 21 years of age.

Position Summary

The Pediatric Movement Center (PMC) is looking for a part-time Weekend Instructor/Birthday Party Instructor to join our KidMotion team in the Hagerstown clinics. The KidMotion program is designed for kids of all ages and abilities to develop their social skills, creativity, strength, endurance, coordination and confidence through fun age-appropriate activities.

Responsibilities

• Greet clients and families with genuine interest and concern, ensuring safety.
• Run activities, manage the flow of birthday parties and other special events.
• Set up and clean up for events.

Qualifications

• Previous experience with gymnastics and special needs a plus (not required).
• People-oriented, compassionate, friendly, energetic, organized, self-driven, independent learner, and team-oriented.

Physical Demands

• Moderate physical effort: standing, walking, assisting with set-up/breakdown of equipment, transitioning on/off floor to interact with children, spotting children during activities.
• Ability to stoop, bend, kneel, crouch.

Schedule and Compensation

• Hours vary from 4 to 29.75 per week, including weekend shifts.
• Wage range $15-$17 per hour.
