Korzen Health seeks a PRN Weekend Psychiatrist to provide inpatient psychiatric care in the Jacksonville area. Flexible weekend scheduling allows supplemental income or a part-time commitment without a full-time schedule.

Responsibilities include adult and geriatric care, consultations, medication management, and collaboration with a multidisciplinary team. W-2 or 1099 options available, with potential for additional weekend coverage as needs arise.

Qualifications

• MD or DO with board certification or eligibility in psychiatry.
• Active Florida medical license.
• DEA registration.
• Strong clinical and communication skills.
• Inpatient psychiatry experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat adult and geriatric psychiatric patients.
• Conduct psychiatric consultations and follow-up evaluations.
• Develop and oversee individualized treatment plans.
• Provide medication management.
• Collaborate with nursing, therapists, social workers, and the treatment team.
• Provide clinical supervision to midlevel providers.
• Participate in discharge planning and care coordination.
• Maintain timely and accurate clinical documentation.
