Job summary

Malvern Behavioral Health is seeking a per-diem Certified Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner to join weekends on the inpatient dual diagnosis unit in South Philadelphia. You will provide medical and psychiatric services, including assessments, medication management, and therapy, within a collaborative team.

The role emphasizes coordination with psychiatrists, leadership, and a commitment to evidence-based behavioral health practices while maintaining strict HIPAA compliance and high-quality patient

Qualifications

• Current Pennsylvania CRNP license in good standing.
• Mental health certification within 2 years of hire.
• Unrestricted PA DEA license.
• Strong organizational, time-management and communication skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office 365 and standard office software.
• HIPAA knowledge and confidentiality compliance.

Responsibilities

• Renders medical and psychiatric services, including assessments, evaluations, medication management, and psychotherapy.
• Prescribes medications and coordinates pharmacologic interventions.
• Collaborates with psychiatrists to optimize patient care.
• Leads treatment team in developing and reviewing care and transition plans.
• Completes and submits accurate encounter, service, and claims documentation.
