Job summary

Signet Health is seeking a full-time Occupational Therapist to join the 15-bed inpatient rehabilitation unit at White River Medical Center in Batesville, AR, with weekend coverage and a competitive salary.

The OT will assess and document care in the EMR, supervise COTA staff, monitor progress, ensure safety, and collaborate with the medical team to optimize patient outcomes. Required: OT degree (BS/MS/OTD), Arkansas licensure, CPR certification, and clinical experience.

Qualifications

• Education: OT degree from an approved program; active Arkansas license.
• Clinical training and experience in occupational therapy; CPR up to date.
• Demonstrates leadership, rehab principles, and age-appropriate care.

Responsibilities

• Initiates patient care through evidence-based assessment and EMR documentation.
• Submits accurate treatment charges daily in the EMR.
• Maintains treatment records, statistics, and patient scheduling.
• Monitors patient progress and adjusts the treatment plan; supervises COTA staff.
• Ensures equipment safety and hazard prevention in the department.
• Promotes positive behavior and teamwork within the rehab team.
• Maintains professional knowledge and skills in occupational therapy.
