Job summary

A family in Presidio Heights, San Francisco, is seeking an experienced weekend nanny for their 5-month-old baby boy. The role emphasizes infant development, age-appropriate activities, and close collaboration with parents and grandparents.

You should have at least 3 years of private nanny work with solid references, English fluency, and relevant certifications (ECE or postpartum doula). Chinese language is a plus.

Qualifications

• 3 years minimum experience as a private nanny with verifiable references.
• Extensive infant care knowledge and milestones.
• English fluency mandatory; Chinese language a plus.
• ECE or postpartum doula certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Providing attentive, developmentally appropriate care.
• Actively engaging in play and planning activities geared towards baby's development and milestones.
• Provide guidance and recommendations to parents.
• Prepare, wash, sanitize bottles.
• Manage transitions such as solids, daily routine, potty training, etc.
• Organizing and taking inventory of child’s clothing, toys, and supplies.
• Child laundry.
• Light tidying (maintaining nursery, play and common areas)

Education

Fluency in English

ECE certification or postpartum doula

Preschool teaching experience

Chinese language (nice to have)
