Job summary

Visiting Angels Greenville & Anderson, SC seeks compassionate caregivers to provide non-clinical, in-home care. You will support safety, comfort, and well-being, with shifts from 3 to 24 hours, part-time, full-time, or as-needed.

Requirements include a high school diploma, valid driver’s license, and 1 year in-home caregiving preferred. Training, flexibility, and a supportive environment are offered.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license, reliable vehicle, and current auto insurance.
• Ability to follow individualized care plans.
• Flexibility to meet client scheduling needs.
• Minimum of 1 year of in-home caregiving experience preferred.
• Strong communication and active listening skills.
• Ability to remain calm in emergency situations and report changes in client condition.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with ambulation and mobility.
• Provide medication reminders.
• Support personal care and hygiene.
• Prepare light meals in accordance with dietary needs.
• Provide transportation to appointments, errands, and pharmacy visits.
• Perform light housekeeping duties.
• Offer companionship and emotional support.
