Job summary

TheKey is hiring caregivers in Oakland and surrounding areas to provide in-home care for aging seniors. This role offers flexible weekend shifts with top hourly pay and opportunities for full-time or part-time work.

You will support clients with personal care, light housekeeping, transportation and companionship. Requirements include at least 1 year of caregiving, CA HCA registration, a valid driver’s license and access to a insured vehicle, plus TB clearance.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of professional caregiving experience.
• At least 18 years of age.
• HCA Registration with the State of California (we can help you obtain this upon hire) including meeting state background requirements.
• Valid driver’s license, with access to a fully insured personal vehicle.
• TB Clearance or Chest X-Ray.

Responsibilities

• Personal care: dressing, grooming and assisting with meals.
• Light housekeeping: basic cleaning, laundry, and organizing.
• Transportation: Driving clients to appointments, running errands, and grocery shopping.
• Companionship: games, puzzles or other activities that provide social and emotional support.
