Job summary

Distinctive Living is seeking a weekend Housekeeper at Twinbrook Assisted Living in Louisville, KY. The role covers cleaning apartments, common areas, and conducting laundry duties while maintaining resident privacy.

The ideal candidate has at least 1 year of housekeeping experience, strong communication skills, and a commitment to safety and quality standards in a senior living environment. This is a weekend, on-site position with benefits provided where applicable.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 1 year of cleaning or housekeeping experience preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Able to communicate verbally in person and over the phone.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic apartment cleaning including bathrooms, bedrooms, and common areas.
• Change linens and manage laundry as required.
• Maintain cleanliness of all building common areas and entryways.
• Vacuum, dust, mop floors, and sanitize surfaces.
• Assist with logs of cleaning activities and report concerns to management.
• Follow safety guidelines and handle cleaning chemicals properly.
• Respond to resident emergencies per established protocol and assist as needed.
• Support regulatory compliance and company policies.
• Collaborate with team to ensure a positive resident experience.
