Job summary
Regal Heights Rehab and Nursing Center in Jackson Heights, Queens is seeking a housekeeper to join our team, with prior experience in hotel, hospital, or nursing home settings.
You will contribute to a clean, safe environment by performing daily housekeeping tasks, maintaining sanitation standards, ensuring equipment is clean and functional, and handling trash and linens according to facility guidelines.

Qualifications
- Prior experience in hotel, hospital, or nursing home setting.
Responsibilities
- Perform the day-to-day activities of the Housekeeping department
- Maintains a high level of cleanliness & safety throughout designated areas
- Ensure that equipment is clean and in working condition
- Follow instructions by the Director of Housekeeping Services, to ensure that the facility is maintained in a safe manner
- Removal of trash & used linens. Should be able to lift up to forty pounds
- Discard waste/trash in proper containers and reline trash receptacles with a plastic liner
- Properly store equipment, tools, and supplies
- Report any broken equipment to supervisor.
