Job summary

The Pennant Group, Inc. is seeking an experienced Weekend Hospice Registered Nurse (RN) to join our King County hospice team on a PRN basis.

You will perform patient assessments, provide skilled nursing care, manage symptoms, and collaborate with physicians, caregivers, and an interdisciplinary team to support patients and families at home.

This weekend role offers autonomy, on-call opportunities, and competitive pay based on experience.

Qualifications

• Current Washington RN license.
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience.
• Hospice agency experience required.
• Current CPR certification.
• Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and auto insurance.

Responsibilities

• Complete hospice assessments and develop individualized care plans.
• Provide skilled nursing care, medication management, and symptom control.
• Coordinate care with physicians, caregivers, and the interdisciplinary team.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation.
• Educate patients and families on care needs and disease progression.
• Participate in on-call and team meetings as needed.
