Job summary

Compassus in Michigan is seeking an On-Call Hospice Registered Nurse (RN) to provide after-hours and weekend patient care. You will help patients and families spend quality time together while maintaining comfort and dignity.

You will build trusting relationships, educate caregivers, and support the patient’s and family’s coping during emergencies. A valid RN license and CPR/BCLS are required.

Qualifications

• RN license in the state you work.
• Two years of nursing experience; hospice experience preferred.
• Current driver’s license.
• Current CPR and BCLS certification.

• Provide hospice patient care after-hours and weekend, as needs arise for our patients.
• Enable patients to spend quality time with their loved ones and doing the activities they enjoy.
• Build trusting compassionate relationships with your patients and their families.

Requirements

• Flex your schedule to meet agency-staffing needs. Typical schedules may include weekends only, weeknights only, or seven days on, seven days off
