Job summary

BAYADA Home Health Care is hiring compassionate Home Health Aides (HHA) to care for clients in their homes in the New York area. A Home Health Aide Training Program is offered, with advancement to HHA after completion.

The program covers basic regulatory, compliance, and personal care skills for caring for adults in Assistive Care State Programs. We emphasize neighborhood-focused work, respect, and a supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• Successfully complete BAYADA’s HHA 101 Course.

Responsibilities

• Activities of daily living
• Light housekeeping
• Bathing
• Grooming
• Toileting
• Nail care
• Range of motion / exercises
• Transfers / use of mechanical lifting devices
• Oral feeding
• Vital sign checks: temperature, pulse, respiration
• Home Management Tasks: laundry, meal preparation, bed making etc.
• Assisting with ambulation
• Medication assistance
