Job summary

caringhandsunited is seeking motivated home care caregivers to help seniors and disabled individuals live independently at home. You will provide personal care, assist with daily activities, offer companionship, and support with medications and appointments.

Candidates should have a high school diploma or equivalent, be at least 18, and pass background checks and a drug screen. Certifications like CNA/HHA/PCA, CPR, and First Aid are welcome.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Criminal history check and a drug screening required.
• Familiarity with procedures performed by a Nursing Assistant is helpful.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care (bathing, dressing, grooming).
• Assist with activities of daily living (meal prep, light housekeeping).
• Participate in recreational and social activities with clients.
• Provide medication reminders as directed and monitor client health and safety.
• Offer companionship and emotional support.
• Monitor and report client health and safety issues; observe and document client behavior.
• May accompany clients to appointments.
