United Protective Services, Inc. is seeking a reliable Part-Time Weekend Security Officer for a high-rise office building in West Houston (77024). The role combines lobby/front desk coverage with patrols and requires strong customer service, attentiveness, and reliability.

The position offers specific weekend hours (Sat & Sun, 2:00 PM–10:00 PM) with a competitive pay rate of $16.00–$16.50/hour, based on experience. Must reside within 20 miles of 77024 and hold a Level II or III security license.

Formación

• Minimum one year of security, concierge, customer service, or related experience preferred.
• Active Level II or Level III Security License
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Must reside within a 20-mile radius of ZIP Code 77024
• Availability to work both Saturday and Sunday from 2:00 PM–10:00 PM
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Ability to use a smartphone or computer to complete reports
• Comfortable walking and standing for extended periods
• Comfortable conducting exterior and parking garage patrols during afternoon and evening hours
• Able to work outdoors in varying weather conditions, including heat, cold, and rain
• Reliable attendance and punctuality

Responsabilidades

• Provide lobby/front desk coverage and greet tenants and visitors
• Monitor building access and assist with authorized after-hours entry
• Conduct interior, exterior, and multi-level parking garage patrols
• Monitor CCTV and report suspicious activity
• Check doors and access points for proper closure and security
• Identify and report safety hazards, lighting outages, and maintenance concerns
• Respond to incidents and emergencies per post orders
• Complete daily activity reports and incident documentation in Vision Insites
• Communicate concerns to patrol supervisor and provide shift pass-down
• Maintain a professional appearance and courteous demeanor
