Job summary

Preferred Care at Home of Miami Beach is seeking a Home Health Aide (HHA) / Certified Nursing Assistant for Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 8am–8pm in the Aventura area. You will assist with activities of daily living, transport clients, and document daily progress.

Requirements include English as a first language, a CNA or HHA certification, CPR/BLS, and strong communication skills. Competitive pay with weekly direct deposit and benefits offered.

Qualifications

• Strong and active caregiver.
• English must be your first language.
• Strong communications skills.
• Drive client to appointments in your vehicle.
• Meal prep.
• Assist patient with activities of daily living.
• Must write daily written report of client’s condition.
• Must communicate with office staff and client’s family.
• CNA license or HHA certificate.
• CPR/BLS from American Heart Association.

Responsibilities

• Help clients with personal hygiene, dressing, bathing, and daily tasks.
• Check vital signs or administer medications per plan.
• Help with light housekeeping and meal preparation.
• Arrange or provide transportation for clients as needed.
• Collect information about conditions from caregivers, nurses, doctors, and family.
• Observe and report on each client’s condition.
• Stay up-to-date with home health aide training, policies and procedures.
