Job summary

i9 Sports is seeking a Part-Time Independent Contractor to be the game day Brand Ambassador and Family Experience Representative. The role is weekend-focused, outdoors, and requires high energy, kid-friendly interaction, and a willingness to don a mascot costume.

You will engage with players and families, capture content for marketing, and help promote upcoming seasons and events. This 1099 role emphasizes customer service, event support, and community presence at various venues in Texas.

Qualifications

• Weekend availability on Saturdays and Sundays is required.
• Must be able to work outdoors in Texas weather conditions.
• Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods.
• Must have reliable transportation to assigned locations.
• Must be willing to complete any required background screening before working around children.
• Prior experience in customer service, hospitality, promotions, or youth events is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Be a positive, energetic spokesperson for i9 Sports during weekend programs and events.
• Welcome families and players and help create a fun, organized game-day atmosphere.
• Provide friendly, professional customer service to families.
• Answer basic questions and direct parents to staff when needed.
• Engage with children and families throughout the day.
• Promote i9 Sports programs, upcoming seasons, camps, clinics, and events.
• Take appropriate photos and short videos for marketing and social media.
• Wear and perform in an i9 Sports mascot costume as needed.
