Job summary

Farrar Corporation in Norwich, KS is hiring for a Weekend Shift – General Labor to support the foundry and production processes. This entry-level role offers hands-on experience with strong potential for advancement in the metalworking field.

You will lift up to 25 pounds, operate heavy equipment, and complete quality checks while following safety procedures. Training is provided, including forklift and Bobcat instruction.

Qualifications

• Manufacturing experience preferred, but not required.
• Positive attitude and strong reliability.
• Desire to learn and grow within the field of ironwork and metallurgy.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced industrial environment.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lift castings and other materials weighing 25 pounds or more.
• Accurately complete required paperwork and quality checks.
• Operate multiple machines and heavy equipment.
• Assist with furnace relining.
• Participate in foundry cleanup and housekeeping duties.
• Support production and other departments as needed.
• Follow all safety procedures and wear required PPE at all times.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
