Job summary

ID Logistics US in Scranton is seeking a weekend-shift worker (Fri-Sun, 6:00 am–6:30 pm) to operate powered industrial equipment and move products within the distribution center. The role pays $18.00 per hour plus a $1.50 hourly shift differential.

Responsibilities include loading/unloading, inventory control, equipment inspection, and ensuring safety per OSHA standards. A high school diploma or GED and equipment certifications are required; experience preferred.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required; three+ years of related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain equipment certifications (e.g. OSHA).
  • Must be able to wear PPE as required by safety policies.

Responsibilities

  • Load, unload, move, stock, and stage products using powered industrial equipment.
  • Maintain equipment and materials in a neat, clean, and orderly fashion.
  • Inspect assigned equipment on a daily basis.
  • Operate all equipment safely following OSHA standards.
  • Unload inbound shipments and move product to storage locations.
  • Stack and store product in appropriate areas.
  • Prepare products for shipment, ensuring correct counts and types.
  • Move product to rail cars, trailers, or containers.
  • Ensure inbound/outbound shipments are accurate and undamaged.

Weekend shift; Friday-Sunday; 6am-6:30pm

$18.00 per hour plus $1.50 shift differential per hour

Operates gasoline-, liquefied gas-, or electric-powered industrial equipment equipped with lifting devices, such as sit-down, stand-up, clamp or other elevating equipment to push, pull, lift, stack, tier, or move products, equipment, or materials in distribution center or storage yard.

Responsibilities
  • Load, unload, move, stock, and stage products and materials using powered industrial equipment.
  • Maintain equipment and materials in a neat, clean and orderly fashion.
  • On a daily basis, inspect assigned equipment.
  • Operate all equipment in a safe and efficient manner following prescribed work methods and OSHA standards.
  • Unload inbound shipments safely and move product to storage locations.
  • Efficiently stack and store product in the appropriate areas.
  • Pull and prepare products for shipment, ensuring the exact number and types of products are loaded and shipped.
  • Efficiently move product from staging and/or storage areas into rail cars, trailers, or containers.
  • Ensure inbound and outbound shipments are accurate and free of damage. Report quality variances.
  • Keep appropriate records and reports to guarantee that tight inventory control and security are maintained.
  • Assist in physical inventories.
  • Ensure proper stock rotation.
  • Follow customer requirements and/or other instructions to ensure accuracy: load count, stability of product, and that all products are loaded and unloaded safely.
  • Coordinate as necessary with all other departments/functions, especially Customer Service, Transportation and Maintenance.
  • Perform good housekeeping practices, clean as you go process.
  • Conduct operations and equipment in a manner that promotes safety and report unsafe conditions that can’t be self-corrected to the leadership team.
  • Follow corporate and site-specific Good Manufacturing Practices and report noncompliance when observed.
  • Observe all company safety rules and assist in enforcement as appropriate.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED); three or more years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Must be able to successfully complete post-hire assessments.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain equipment certifications (e.g. OSHA, company, etc.).
  • Must be able to wear personal protective equipment appropriate for the work environment (e.g. protective footwear, protective eyewear, gloves, etc.) in accordance with safety policies.
