Job summary

The Kraft Heinz Company in Cedar Rapids is seeking a Weekend Sanitation Associate for our 3-shift plant. This role keeps production areas clean and sanitary, including spice room, prep rooms, blanch, cook areas, filler and packaging zones, following all safety and food safety policies.

Typical shift is Friday and Monday 6:00am-2:30pm and Saturday/Sunday 6:00am-6:30am with a pay rate of $22.08 per hour. We value reliability, teamwork and a strong commitment to quality in a non-union facility.

Qualifications

• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
• Ability to follow safety and sanitation procedures.
• Able to work in hot and cold environments.
• Effective communication and teamwork.
• Ability to work independently or with others.

Responsibilities

• Pre-wash, wash, sanitize, post-wash equipment as needed.
• Clean all equipment in parts carts using COP Tank.
• Inspect carts and keep parts organized.
• Empty trash and maintain clean floors in production areas.
• Conduct titration of COP wash solutions.
• Support MSS scheduled cleanings.
• Other duties as assigned.
