Job summary

ABM Industries is seeking a reliable Floor Tech to maintain carpet and hard surface floors, including stripping, scrubbing, buffing, waxing, refinishing, sealing, and spot cleaning. This role emphasizes safety and may support special projects at the account level.

The position offers on-site work with a weekend shift (Saturday through Monday, 6:00am–6:30pm) and a pay rate of $17.35 per hour. No prior experience required; on-the-job training provided.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Must meet all requirements to receive approval for working in specific ATS environments (if applicable), including ten-year work history if available.
• No experience required and on the job training provided.
• No high school diploma, GED or college degree required.

Responsibilities

• Completes assigned stripping, waxing, buffing, scrubbing, refinishing, sealing and spot cleaning of floors.
• Assists with special projects within the account as needed. Willing to complete other duties as assigned.
• Ensures repairs and maintenance to all equipment and facilities
• Responsible for using safety measures in work areas.
• Assists in emergencies as needed.
