Town of Holly Springs is seeking a Farmers Market Assistant I to support the Farmers Market Coordinator in supervising daily operations at the Holly Springs Farmers Market. This outdoor role requires reliability, strong customer service, and the ability to assist vendors and visitors with inquiries.

Must work Saturdays primarily from 6:30am to 2pm year-round, with approximately 6–10 hours per week. The position involves frequent public contact, working outside in all temperatures, and promoting

Qualifications

• Previous customer service experience is required.
• Basic computer skills and familiarity with public-facing tasks.
• Experience with social media is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Farmers Market Coordinator as directed.
• Close Ballentine Street for vendor setup.
• Move barricades and cones to direct traffic.
• Set out signage, tents, and tables for market use.
• Assist vendors with setup and breakdown of their tents.
• Answer questions and promote the market to visitors.
