Position: Weekend EVENING On-Call Caregiver

This is an on-call position in the Greater Louisville area. You should be available and ready to work on Saturdays and Sundays, starting at 4:00 p.m. Typical hours are from 8:00 p.m. to 8:00 a.m. Compensation is between $17 - $18 per hour, depending on experience, plus a $50 bonus for each day, paid whether you are needed or not, provided you answer your phone and attend shifts when called.

Qualifications:

• Experience in caregiving is required.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Valid Driver's License and Car Insurance.
• Reliable transportation.
• High School diploma or GED.
• No felonies.

Day in the life:

Caregivers may perform safety checks, assist with meals and dressing, help with medication reminders, and support mobility. They also engage in companionship activities like games and errands, aiming to make clients smile. Certifications like CNA, HHA, or PCA are preferred but not required.

Ideal candidates:

Experience caring for family or as a full-time parent, or work in assisted living, skilled nursing, or senior centers. Certifications such as CNA, HHA, or PCA are a plus.
