Job summary

Life Time, Inc. is seeking an Aquatics Lifeguard to monitor pool safety and provide excellent member service in a fast-paced environment. The role involves overseeing indoor and outdoor pools, water slides, and coordinating aquatic events while upholding Life Time safety standards.

The candidate should be safety-minded, capable of communicating with guests, and able to perform rescues and first aid as needed, with certification requirements and physical demands noted in the job description.

Qualifications

• Working towards a High School Diploma or GED.
• StarGuard Elite Lifeguard, BLS CPR, and First Aid certification (or bridge to StarGuard during expiry or within the first year).
• Ability to stay in a stationary position and move around the club for extended periods.
• Ability to communicate with guests about Life Time products and services.
• Swim 300 yards/meters without stopping.
• Tread water for 1 minute.
• Swim and retrieve a 10 lb diving brick from the bottom and surface.
• Routinely bend to lift more than 20 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Greets and interacts with Members.
• Rescues swimmers in danger of drowning and administers first aid.
• Ensures swimmers are aware of potentially dangerous swim areas and activities.
• Keeps the pool area clean and orderly to ensure the safety of the Members.
