Job summary

Concern Housing is seeking a Weekend Evening Counselor to assist in delivering direct services to clients and support the site operations. The role supports supervision, documentation, meals, and activities while promoting housing services and client wellbeing.

The position is part-time with weekend evening hours (Saturday & Sunday, 4pm–12am) and pays $21.00 per hour. A strong interest in social work and growth opportunities are highlighted.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provides direct care services to a caseload of clients.
• Documents client progress and related records.
• Monitors the site and coordinates house activities such as meals, chores, and safety checks.
• Facilitates food-planning and trains clients in weekly planning.
• Provides rehabilitative support in daily living skills and health services.
• Monitors medications and assists with transportation.

Concern Housing is seeking a Weekend Evening Counselor to be responsible for assisting the Supervisor and Case Managers in the delivery of direct services to the clients, as well assisting in the overall running of the site. The counselor provides a variety of services, ranging from the teaching of skills to delivery of concrete services to providing counseling to the clients.
