Job summary

Emory University’s Department of Radiology and Imaging Sciences is seeking a weekendist radiologist for full-time 1.0 FTE shifts on Saturdays and Sundays (1 PM–11 PM). This role offers remote work from anywhere in the United States (excluding AK, HI, and NJ) with Teams-based communication, and a focus on acute care imaging in ED and inpatient settings.

You will join an academic environment with teaching opportunities, multidisciplinary conferences, and access to extensive research resources.

Qualifications

• Completion of ACGME-accredited Diagnostic Radiology residency.
• ABR Board-certified or eligible.
• Unrestricted Georgia medical license.

Responsibilities

• Teach residents and fellows.
• Participate in multidisciplinary conferences.
• Engage in research activities and utilize research infrastructure.
• Provide whole-body acute care imaging for ED and inpatient.

Job description

• Full-time (1.0 FTE) Weekendist with 46 weekends annually (92 shifts) on Saturday and Sunday, 1 PM to 11 PM.
• Work remotely from home anywhere in the USA except AK, HI, and NJ, using Microsoft Teams for communication.
• Shifts involve whole-body acute care imaging (ED and Inpatient), focusing on CT, US, and XR.

Qualifications:

• MD, DO, or equivalent degree with completion of ACGME-accredited Diagnostic Radiology residency.
• Fellowship training in Emergency Radiology, Abdominal Imaging, Neuroradiology, or Musculoskeletal Imaging preferred.
• ABR Board-certified or eligible and must obtain an unrestricted Georgia medical license.
