Schweitzer Engineering Laboratories (SEL) is offering a Technician Internship in Lewiston, ID. The role is part-time during the academic year (20 hours) and full-time in the summer on the Weekend Shift.

You’ll learn from industry-leading professionals while contributing to hands-on electrical testing and support tasks. The internship emphasizes developing practical skills in analog/digital electronics, test equipment usage, and collaboration within engineering teams.

Qualifications

Pursuing a 2-year Electronic Engineering Technology degree as a current student.
Available to work the weekend shift (Fri-Mon) for 20 hours during the school year.
Basic working knowledge of analog and digital electronics.
Familiar with modern test equipment and able to learn quickly.

Responsibilities

Test, repair, convert, and troubleshoot basic problems to the component level on SEL products.
Provide basic product technical support to SEL staff and customers.
Develop and maintain knowledge in SEL processes and products to ensure quality.
Provide support to engineering staff and management as needed.
