Job summary

Christiana Care Health System is seeking an experienced Emergency Department Registered Nurse for weekend coverage in our Middletown ED. The role supports 7 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. shifts with a 48-hour per pay period schedule, across weekends as assigned.

BSN required or pursuit within three years, with ED/critical care experience preferred and BLS compliant; ACLS preferred. The department offers a dynamic team and comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• BSN required or commitment to obtaining within three years of hire.
• Experience in an emergency department or critical care setting preferred.
• At least one year of experience in a medical/surgical acute care environment is required.
• BLS certification is required and ACLS is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide emergency nursing care in a fast-paced ED setting.
• Manage patient flow and prioritization during weekend coverage.
• Collaborate with ED physicians and staff to deliver safe, efficient care.
