Job summary

Alpha Supported Living Services in Bothell, WA is seeking a part-time Direct Support Professional to support program participants on weekends, providing personal care, community integration, and a safe living environment.

You will work under supervision, assisting with daily living activities, health monitoring, transportation, and documentation. Requires compassion, strong communication, and ability to meet physical demands; WA driver's license and background clearance are required.

Qualifications

• Direct Support Professionals provide dignified, respectful care and safeguard client rights.
• Must be 18+ with a high school diploma or GED and a valid WA driver's license.
• Background check clearance from a state agency is required.

Responsibilities

• Interact with clients, provide informal counseling and problem-solving support.
• Assist with daily living activities: hygiene, meals, housekeeping, shopping, health monitoring.
• Support community outings and transport clients as needed.
• Complete required shift documentation: medication records, behavior tracking, incidents, finances.
• Assist with medical needs: vitals, transfers, positioning, tube feeding as applicable.
