Job summary

Brookville Center for Children\'s Services in Plainview, NY is seeking a Direct Support Professional for the AHRC Old Country Road location, working Saturdays and Sundays 3-10 pm (14 hours per week). The role pays starting at $14.00 per hour based on experience.

Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and a valid NYS driver’s license; you must be able to follow written and oral directions to support residents’ daily living.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Must submit a valid NYS driver's license, and maintain a qualified driver status throughout employment.
• Must have the ability to communicate and understand written and oral directives/information

Responsibilities

• Promote the agency’s mission statement and guiding principles in every interaction.
• Provide ongoing support to the people that live in the Community Living Services program to ensure that a high quality of life is maintained.
• Provide support in self-care routines, health, safety, household chores, socialization, and overall well-being.
